Ameristar Painting Plus is a Tallahassee painter and painting contractor that recently hired Capital Data Studio to design and deploy their presence on the web. In addition to a full CMS system in which the owner can add blogs, news and job info, Ameristar Painting Plus can now use an invoicing program as long as they have an internet connection.
A Big Step
This is a big step up for owner Tom Howard. While he used to handle all invoicing aspects of his job by hand on paper invoices, that method became tedious and inefficient.
“I was constantly loosing my paper invoices,” said Tom Howard. “It started becoming difficult to keep up with and became cumbersome now that a lot of customers expect quotes and invoices to be e-mailed to them.”
Capital Data Studio implemented Open Source Invoicing software straight into Tom’s site. Since it’s web based, Tom doesn’t have to be at the computer where a program is installed. As long as he has an internet connection, he can quickly log on and:
- Create proposals, estimates, quotes and invoices quickly.
- Keep a directory of all of his customers and all associated proposals.
- E-mail proposals and invoices straight from within the program.
- Keep account of all previous activity with easy to read and print reports.
- Prevent others from accessing this program with built-in security.
